Kenya's proudly independent brewer, founded in Naivasha in 1997 by Tabitha Karanja — one of Africa's few female brewery owners — starting with fortified wine before taking on the global drinks giants with beers, spirits and wines. Renamed Keroche Breweries in 2015 around its KSh 5.5 billion refurbished Naivasha plant, with revenues around KSh 18.5 billion.
